The Hobbit has wrapped filming...on my birthday haha!
Twenty-four, the year of the dragon again, may all things come smoothly this auspicious year for everyone!

It's the end of 2011...

Also the end of 13 years of companionship from Blue, who had to be put to sleep on 12/26.

He is and will be the best dog our family will ever have. Good bye Blue, and hope you're at a happy place~

There and back again

The Hobbit starts production in New Zealand!!

Now that's worthy of a post. And my last post was January 1?? Wow~

I can't believe it has been around 10 years since Peter Jackson filmed The Lord of the Rings. Well here's the first of his vlog that he posted on his facebook fan page haha...

And they're shooting the movie at 48 frames per second (current standard is 24 frames per second). The movements should look very smooth, especially important seeing that this movie will be in 3D...
